**Job Details:** Clinic Pain Management Center is a multi-disciplinary, comprehensive pain medicine clinic. You will be joining a team that includes two well-qualified, compassionate, ethical, and friendly physicians and an experienced team of nurses and schedulers. We provide medical management, procedural interventions, and referrals to ancillary services. We are seeking a flexible, motivated, full-time, motivated individual who is interested in learning and applying the principals of our pain management medical protocols. This individual must be dedicated to providing quality care to patients under the direct supervision of the physician. Duties include obtaining medical and personal histories, performing physical exams and assessments, providing treatment plans and medication management. Will assist the doctors with some in-office procedures, appropriate referrals, and education for patients and families. Primarily work Monday- Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexibility as needed to meet the patients' needs in the clinic. **Requirements:** * Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program * Active and unrestricted Virginia Physician Assistant''s license * Must be eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Board of Medicine * Must have a valid DEA number * Must meet credentialing requirements and qualify for malpractice insurance and be accepted by Carilion Clinic''s malpractice insurance carrier * Must obtain/maintain BLS certifications * Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers * Must successfully complete orientation and competency requirements * Must be able to meet essential job functions Service Excellence and Quality are hallmarks of Carilion Clinic.
