**Job Details:** Support Carilion's hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities. Work under the supervision of the Manager, Group Exercise. Responsible for organizing and presenting assigned group exercise classes. Instructs classes in accordance with guidelines established by the Manager, Group Exercise. Demonstrates a knowledge and understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human body as it relates to exercise and safety precautions. Uses correct technique as related to exercise. Maintains a fitness level appropriate for effective instruction. Projects a friendly and positive attitude and conducts oneself in a professional manner.** **Minimum Qualifications Required: **Education: **Basic knowledge of health and fitness is required. **Experience:**No experience required. **Licensure, **certification, and/or **registration:**AHA BLS-HCP certification required or must be obtained within 90 days after hire. **Group exercise certification is required.
