Director of Nursing- Skilled Nursing/ long term care - The Job Jobber (Roanoke, VA) in Roanoke, Virginia For Sale

We are in search of Director of Nursing with Long Term Care experience for a 115 bed skilled nursing and rehab facility. You will be responsible for approximately 30 FTEs reporting to an administrator and CNE and the main hospital. To be considered you should have some understanding of budgets and skilled at building relationships with physicians. Within the first year of hire the goals are staff retention & reduction in OT, very strong operational assessment to include resident care and leadership structure, implement plan for 12-24 mos to move from where it is today to national designation as Pathway facility.
Minimum Required Qualifications
1. Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
2. Associates degree or Diploma in nursing from an accredited program
3. Five to seven years progressively more responsible management experience in nursing
4. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet, HRIS/payroll and other systems.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Preferable management experience in long term care
2. Bachelor’s degree
3. Certificate in gerontology
