This set is sometimes referred to as the "child's junior dinner set".
Condition -
- Twelve of the pieces are in excellent condition. That is, there are no chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or repairs of any kind.
- The sugar bowl is in very good condition. It does have a small chip on the bottom. The chip does not affect how it sits on the table.
- One of the cups is in good condition. It has a crack in it near the rim.
Other than that, there is nothing that affects it's condition. It does have a black dot that was fired into one of the cups; as I understand it, it is the result of a bit of coal that was used in the furnace making it's way to the glass.
You see an example of this exact tea set in the Depression Glass Number One in Color Third Edition Book by Sandra McPhee Stout (xxxx) on plate 17.
It is also referenced in Mauzy's Comprehensie Handbook of Depression Glass Prices 9th Edition (xxxx) on page 30.
